Do those creams that promise to firm your skin and rid of cellulite , bla bla, really work?
Those creams can make you look better temporarily but to *really* firm the skin and/or improve cellulite you have to address the underlying muscle tissue and fat issues and topical creams can't really do that.
An interesting study was done on cellulite creams about, I'd say off the top of my head, about 15 years ago. They found that the creams that instructed you to ';massage for 5 minutes'; worked much better than the ones that just said to rub them in. They did further studies and guess what? It's the MASSAGE--not the cream that improves your cellulite.

I'm 38 years old and I have been using under eye creams for many years to help prevent wrinkles. I use it at night after I wash my face and in the morning before putting my makeup on. I also use an oil-free moisturizer. I don't use any one particular brand of under eye cream as I try them all but my question is does it make the skin under the eyes become thin and kinda saggy? In fact, if you lie on your bed right now and hold your legs up just an inch off the mattress, then touch your abdomen and you'll see how taught it is. I used to have pretty bad cellulite which only got worse after I get pregnant. I had it mostly around my inner thighs and bottom and a bit on my tummy as well. I tried eating more healthy food and did a lot of exercise as well which friends and family members recommended but my skin was still lumpy and floppy. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed to have got rid of her cellulite by using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked pretty well. i tried nivea goodbye cellulite gel-cream. you put it on twice a day, it smells nice, and it worked fairly well. i wasn't expecting very much from it, but it definitely made a difference on the back of my thighs. they also sell pills and patches in this same product line. i'm sure if you use all 3 items the results would be better. you can get it at any drug store, and i think a bottle of the lotion was like 11 bucks.

i tried nivea goodbye cellulite gel-cream. you put it on twice a day, it smells nice, and it worked fairly well. i wasn't expecting very much from it, but it definitely made a difference on the back of my thighs. they also sell pills and patches in this same product line. i'm sure if you use all 3 items the results would be better. you can get it at any drug store, and i think a bottle of the lotion was like 11 bucks.
I've found the best firming cream to be by Decleor Innovation.

Repeat at bedtime and watch what happens :)MAGIC:) Then, pat dry with a towel and apply Lancome's High Resolution eye cream. You can find a sample size of it on Ebay or you can buy a regular size jar. I prefer to buy beauty products from Ebay because I am not exactly a fan of having to pay department store price.

Help with skin firming and stretch mark creams?!?
One of my new years resolutions is to get back into better shape. I've got a cardio glide, 3 %26amp; 5 pound weights, a medicine ball, and an ab roller that I've been using. However, I also have 3 kids and I still have a bit of loose skin and a few stretch marks on my lower stomach. Im really curious to know if there are any breast firming creams out there that really work? Im only 22 Years old and have been on birth control since i was 14 due to horrible cramps i used to get. i recently messed up taking it and had to skip it for a month and restart and in that month my breasts have signifigately like deflated. is it just because i wasnt getting the normal hormones from my pills? and like i used to know when i was getting my period because they would get really sore and now that doesnt even happen. they seem to have alot more excess skin. But, I talked to several women about it, and someone told me to get a tube of ordinary hemmoriod cream, and a bottle of my favorite lotion. You put a little of both in your hand, mix it up, and rub it all over your belly. I thought it sounded crazy, but it actually helped a lot! Also Lisa E is absolutely right, anti ageing creams can cause breakouts if you have oily skin, so if that sounds like you ( and me! ) just spot treat with eye cream and collagen filler. Either you or a lover, cup your breasts in easch hand and, hold it tight, (as tight as you feel comfortable with) and massage them in a cicular motion, and pull a bit.
Do that for twenty minutes or so a day, (throughtout the day). At the beginning you won't see/feel much differece, but within a month i had firmer breasts and within 2 months needing bigger bras.

If you have weights (or bags of sugar), hold them in your hands, stand with your arms straight, then lift them up in the hair so your arm is level with your shoulder, then same with your other arm. Do that how ever many times you feel comfortable with, then add on one every day. Not the fastest way, but if you do both, you will see a difference soon.

don't even melt your chocolate. bring your cream up to a simmer on the stove, and then add it to the unmelted chocolate. it will melt the chocolate, and blend nicely, but, of course, when it does get cold, it will firm up. melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, add the cream gradually whilst the chocolate is still on the heat - this should stop it from solidifying.

Try melting the the butter and chocolate and then adding warm cream to the mixture. You might want to microwave them both at the same time, but don't let the cream boil.

Do bust firming creams work?

I've heard something about adding jello to it. Is it true? I need to take the cake to my brither's house (it's a 30 minute ride) and I don't want it to be destroyed meanwhile.:)

Add gelatin to cold water in small pan. Set this over boiling water until it is clear. Do not stir. Cool to room temperature. Meanwhile whip the cream until it is medium thick. Pour gelatin mixture into the center of cream while mixer is going. Pour in the gelatin all at once and continue beating. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until cream stands in stiff peaks. Use as frosting for cakes or dessert decoration. How do you make the whipped cream stay firm and not melt?
The following will stabilize the whipped cream.
Soften 1 teaspoon (that is less than a full envelope) of gelatin in 2 Tablespoon cold water for five minutes. Heat this gently until gelatin melts. This melts quicky on the stove. Add the melted gelatin mixture to one cup whipping cream, whisking so that the gelatin and cream are well combined but not whipped. Chill the cream mixture at least one hour.
Add 3 T powdered sugar and 1/2 t. vanilla to the cream mixture and whip with an electric mixer until the cream is very thick and holds its shape. The cream will stiffen further upon refrigeration once you have iced the cake or just holding it for piping, etc.
Not sure if this will help, but here is a sure fire recipe for fluffy Meringue frosting:
* 陆 cup plus scant 2 tablespoons sugar
* 3 tablespoons water
* 3 large egg whites, at room temperature
* Heaping 录 teaspoon cream of tartar
* Generous 录 teaspoon vanilla extract
* Pastry brush
Place 陆 cup of sugar and the water in a small pot. Stir to wet sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, swirling pan occasionally.
Dip pastry brush in cold water and wash down sugar crystals from the sides of the pot once or twice. Turn down heat to simmer gently.
Meanwhile, place the egg whites into a clean, grease-free mixing bowl. Using balloon whip attachment to standing mixer, whip until frothy on low speed.
Add cream of tartar and turn speed up to medium high.
When soft peaks form, gradually add remaining 2 tablespoons sugar.
Continue whipping until stiff, glossy peaks form.
Bring the sugar-water mixture to a rapid boil and cook until it reaches 248掳 to 250掳.

I have found that using less liquid is best. Experimenting with the recipe will give you the best result without making major changes to the taste and texture of the pie.

You need to add unflavoured gelatin to the banana mixture before refridgerating it.
